After experiencing serious reproductive health issues around 24 years old, I took an unconventional route to pay off my medical bills: I threw ticketed pool parties, centered around inclusivity. Though I had no prior experience in the alcoholic beverage space when I started Bev in 2017, I did have a mission: create a voice for women where there had never truly been one, and do so in a kind and approachable way. Bev is on a mission to transform the alcohol industry as we know it. Bev is changing the culture around drinking by speaking to and connecting with women — empowering them to break the glass and encouraging them to own their fun. Our first product is the refreshingly crisp and dry, canned California rosé wine. This proprietary blend has bright aromatics of strawberry, raspberry, and white peach. Made specifically for a can, every can of Bev has 11.9% ABV, 0 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of carbs. Bev is currently available in California, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Arizona, Colorado and Texas as well as available online nationwide.
Gem — GEM vitamins have become a staple in my daily routine. GEM was founded by Sara Cullen and I can thank her first-hand for helping me get through my day-to-day. These vitamins have all the good (and important!) stuff while also being delicious and non-intimidating for those beginning their wellness journey.
Unbound — Another female-founded company that I am proud to support is Unbound Babes. Unbound Babes was founded by Polly Rodriguez after she decided to combat the stigma surrounding women’s sexual health. She decided to create a brand that would empower women to feel comfortable embracing their sexuality — with a damn cute product line to boot! Polly is a prime example of a woman who is breaking the glass in a previously male-dominated culture.
County Line Florals — My dear friend, Abigail Spencer, founded Country Line Florals and it has been such a privilege to watch the company grow day by day. Abigail’s eye for design and aesthetic paired with her keen business skills have worked in harmony to create floral arrangements that you will never want be without.
Anything else? Keep breaking the glass, ladies! From myself and the rest of the Bev team, we’re rooting for you xx
Alexa is on Jesse Draper’s team at Halogen Ventures, identifying and supporting the top female founders.
The Sill — The Sill ships indoor plants in stylish ceramic pots nationwide. Little Snake Plants, Ferns, Orchids, Poinsettia. My houseplants have been my best buddies during COVID — I’m tracking how tall one has grown on the wall like a proud Mom. And they provide easy care instructions so I haven’t killed any yet.
Squad — Squad is the Zoom for Gen Z gals, designed for watching TikTok and swiping through apps together. During COVID we’ve seen spikes in mental health issues for young women, and Squad is keeping girls connected while apart. There’s so much Zoom fatigue, Squad makes voice and video hangouts actually fun.
Flex — Flex is the leader in innovation for period products. I think it’s common to assume periods have to be uncomfortable. But with the right products, periods can be better! Their comfy menstrual disc and inclusive menstrual cup make your period week feel the same as every other week, it’s awesome.
Anything else? 2020 has been a beast of a year. I have the pleasure of speaking with many female founders and have been blown away by the tenacity to pivot, refine, and grow despite the pandemic. It’s a real testament to what female founders are made of. Kudos to you all.

Candour Beauty — Jacqueline and Abi of Candour Beauty believed that women of color did not have to settle for wasting money on beauty products due to lack of company and sales rep awareness. They have built their UK-based platform in 2020 and already featured in UK’s #1 newspaper and British Vogue because they did not settle for what was the status-quo of beauty for black women.

Alissa Bell — Thoughtfully designed paper products that make a statement. I bought my grandmother the memo box for Christmas with custom paper, I love a personal and personalized gift.
I have a background in Technology Transactions (Technology Licensing, Cloud Computing, and Privacy) and Corporate law (day-to-day corporate governance and financings). I currently work in Amazon’s Web Services division with companies in highly regulated industries, including financial services and health services. I’m interested in helping companies at all stages with their legal needs.
What else should we know? I’m also always looking for women-led startups to invest in. Please reach out to me at nniadj@gmail.com.
Sleek — I hate, HATE waiting in lines, especially if I’m hungry. Sleek allows users to cut out the inconvenience of waiting in lines while simultaneously helping food trucks increase revenue. Users can simply place a pick-up order from their phone and get a notification when their food is ready. Sleek has been key to allowing street food vendors to operate during COVID-19 by limiting the number of people gathering at food trucks. The technology was recently expanded to help indoor restaurants with contactless ordering and capacity management.
Living Carbon — The worst impacts of climate change may be irreversible by 2030. Currently, more than 1 million species are at risk of extinction. It’s time we invest in protecting our planet. They’ve put together an A-list team to tackle a meaningful problem that effects every single person on Earth.

Hi, I’m Fischer and I have 5 years of experience in Venture Capital, working with founders and visionaries across US and China. In my time as a VC, I witnessed firsthand that women and BIPOC don’t have access to the same resources and thus I started FISCH.ER FOUNDRY, a consulting firm that advises female and minority startup founders who want to start a movement. My sweet spot is helping D2C seed stage companies scale their business and build their community.

Ask her about making edibles at home, favorite ways to introduce cannabis to newbies, and all things delicious (infused or not!).
What else should we know? Mellows is a woman and minority led company with culinary roots that push them to make the best tasting, most delightful edibles possible. Available in fun and nostalgic flavors, these gourmet, handcrafted marshmallows are a one-of-a-kind treat for everyone from the canna-curious to the discerning edibles connoisseur.
OM Edibles — Om Edibles is a legacy brand in California cannabis. “Treating cannabis as a superfood since 2008” Om offers a full suite of edibles and topicals. My favorites include their Raw Cacao, which I love to make chocolate truffles with, and their luxurious Epsom Salt bath soaks, which are pure bliss. The thing I love most about Om is how supportive they are of fellow female trailblazers in the cannabis industry. Maya leads by example, she does the hard work, and she is so generous with her knowledge and experience.
Sous Weed — Sous Weed is at the crux of all the things I love: geeking out on food and cannabis, gorgeous photography, and killer recipes, all from the lens of an Asian American kitchen. Monica is a multi-faceted talent. She has a gift for visual storytelling and brings a voice to the table that I appreciate and greatly admire.
The Garden Society — From cannabis-infused chocolates to hash-infused pre-rolls, Garden Society sure know the way to this girl’s heart. I’m constantly in awe of Erin and Karli’s hustle. They are total bosses, balancing mom-life with founder-life, building a brand that strives to redefine cannabis for women.
Anything else? I also want to shout out Society Jane. This Bay Area cannabis delivery service is run by the loveliest pair of smart, sassy ladies. Sharon and Andy’s menu is well-curated, their service is on point, and their quippy newsletters always bring a smile to my face. They are my go-to whenever I need to coordinate compliant (i.e. legal) delivery of Mellows for private events or corporate gifting.
I’m a playful perfectionist and love the nitty gritty details as much as the big picture. I have a creative background and a track record in the art world and recently launched High Five, a reimagined nail salon on a mission to make your day so you can make someone else’s. If you’re in SF, pop in for a polish or just come say hi! :)
Amac Things — My super talented friend Amac took a brave leap after business school and followed her dreams to work as an artist!
Cookies by Katrice — I’m a total sugar fiend and Katrice’s cookies and baked goods are the best in the game. But even more than that, Katrice is a true hustler — she hand delivers every order herself!
Zuzu — Ali is a chef-turned-founder and has created my DREAM cocktail! If you’re in New York, get some Zuzu stat.
I founded Potli as a delicious brand of edibles to expand on my asian heritage and passion for functional ingredients by creating high-quality, craftsman kitchen staples for everyday use. I am the co-founder and CEO of Living Carbon. We’re a plant biotech company with a mission to develop trees that capture and store more carbon. I am also an angel investor focused on climate and hard science companies. I used to work at OpenAI and am happy to talk about founding and funding ambitious science projects.

Two Pink Suits is a strategic advisory firm for women-owned and led companies.
Technologist, founder, entrepreneur, investor and, most importantly, the other pink suit of Two Pink Suits! I work with and invest in women-led companies and believe in a more mindful future. My journey began as the youngest franchisee of Wetzel’s Pretzels 🥨 and led me to falling in love with human-technology integration by founding The AI Foundation. Also, I love croissants and wine.

Cocokind — My entire skincare routine is Cocokind. Their founder & CEO, Priscilla Tsai, is a beacon of light and content in this world and provides so much transparency intro their product, uses, and has built a good-for-you and good for the world brand that is incredibly approachable.
Living Carbon — I have known Maddie for years and have seen her development from First Round, to serving as Sam Altman’s Chief of Staff, to thinking through what it would be like to start this company in the halls of The Assembly. Maddie is saving the world by growing genetically modified poplars and pines capable of absorbing much more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than regular trees. Absolutely unreal.
Mellows — Mellows is so many things to me. They have a gorgeous product experience, founded by my friend Steph Hua, they are delicious, and just the best. I think cannabis as an alcohol alternative has been very interesting to me and Mellows are my favorite go-to in that regard.
